At 9:40 a.m. the fog seems to have burned off on our hill – at 7:30, could not see the back of the house across the street. Thought at first that this would be a little quieter day, but don’t think so. Have a bunch of things to do around the house like yard work that I have been putting off for a while (like almost all winter). BTW, you may wonder if in SF Bay Area we really have winter – well, I consider anything below 40 very cold, and when the windshield on the car has ice…well. Tonight…

V-Day Rehash
Day dawned very bright, but that same nasty wind is out there. Got a little cool last night, even without the wind. Had a wonderful time at dinner. Went to “Hana Japan” in Berkeley. Food the same as at Benihana’s (prices too). View from this location in the Berkeley Marina was much better, being on the second floor, and having windows to look out.
