It used to be that in most cases, comments were not allowed – that was to prevent robot-like computers from sending all kinds of responses to my posts. With the advent of different forms of “Captcha”, robots will have a more difficult time commenting on posts – it won’t solve the human problem, but that can be resolved by my having the ability to moderate or delete comments.

Born a long time ago in a faraway place, called Oklahoma. Old enough to remember the end of WW II, gas and tire rationing. Presently live in Solano County (North of San Francisco) with my wife Laurie. In addition to consulting on CallXpress voicemail, Mitel and Asterisk/FreePBX Phone Systems, and general computer issues, my other interests are photography, music (piano, keyboard, vocal) and computer programming. I have taught Introduction to Microsoft Office, Computer Programming, Digital Photography and Web Page Design (HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL). In addition to Windows, my computers also run ArcaNoae (OS/2 which is much better at multi-tasking than Windows), and Linux. I no longer participate in a Homeschool Group’s “Class Day” teaching, but continue to support homeschooling. Member of Audio Engineering Society and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).
Currently serving as A/V Media Director and Elder at Windborn Church in Rio Vista, CA. Have served as Producer/Director for my former churches — WayPointe Community Fellowship and Bay Hills Community Church in Richmond, CA. Kind of oversee all aspects of production, sound systems, video and networking, and have some terrific helpers who volunteer with me.
Past life occupations: Bell System as Central Office Manager, Technical Instructor, Training Technologist, Media Center Manager, and Special Circuits Manager. Other companies as Tech Support Manager, Communications Specialist, Field Service Manager, Chief Engineer, and Project Manager.
