Our friendly government is at it again. They don't think that any of us know how legislation gets passed. They think that we can't read; did not pass (or even take) American Government; and don't have any brains.<\/p>\n
In case you missed it, they are trying to push all the earmarks off on to your former President, one George Bush. Well, get your brain cells here folks! [more]Number one fact is that ALL – yes ALL<\/strong> spending bills originate in Congress. The President DOES NOT<\/em> make laws, his or her job is to execute the laws of these United States. Bills to spend money are written by Congress and presented to the President for his signature.<\/em><\/p>\n If that's the case, how can they push those off on George Whatshisname (who lied about Iraq and WMD)?<\/p>\n Getting the picture now – another snow job (read LIE<\/strong>) by the Congress and President, who promised that change was coming. Based on the change I see, if GW was a liar, then what of Mr. Obama? Was the "change" that they could snow the American people better? Seems that saying "those are Bush's earmarks" smacks of huge lies. All Congress would have to do is present Mr. Obama with an appropriations bill that did not have the earmarks in it.<\/p>\n Better yet, he could refuse to sign the bill because HE promised "no more earmarks."<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Our friendly government is at it again.
